2. Scope of Services
Online Services
Agasthi provides an online platform for Sri Lankans worldwide to create matrimonial profiles, search, and connect with potential partners. Parents or guardians may also create profiles for their children with consent.
Disclaimer on Matchmaking
Agasthi facilitates introductions only. We do not guarantee marriage, engagement, or successful relationships. Any communication, meeting, or decision made after connecting through Agasthi is solely the responsibility of the individuals and families involved.
3. Eligibility
To register on Agasthi, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be legally eligible to marry under Sri Lankan law (or applicable law in your country of residence)
- Provide truthful, accurate, and current information
- Parents or guardians acting on behalf of their children must ensure the accuracy of all details provided
4. User Responsibilities
You agree that:
- All information you provide in your profile is truthful and accurate
- You are solely responsible for any content (including text, images, horoscopes, or other material) you upload
- You will not share, copy, or misuse other members' information or photographs
- You will not use Agasthi to harass, mislead, defraud, or engage in financial transactions with other members
Prohibited content includes but is not limited to:

- •Offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful material
- •Content violating third-party intellectual property or privacy rights
5. Account Security
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential
- Any activity carried out under your account will be deemed your responsibility
- You may maintain only one account on Agasthi. Duplicate accounts are not allowed
6. Privacy & Data Protection
We respect your privacy. Personal information provided by you will remain confidential and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, unless disclosure is required by law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, software, and trademarks on Agasthi are owned or licensed by us and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, or reuse any material without our written permission. Photographs uploaded by members may be watermarked to prevent misuse.
8. Payments & Refunds
Agasthi offers free and premium subscription plans. Subscription fees, once paid, are non-refundable, including in cases of cancellation or suspension of your account.
9. Account Suspension & Termination
Agasthi reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete your account if you:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Upload photographs or contact details that are not yours
- Engage in harassment, scams, or anlawful activity
- Breach any of these Terms
You may request account deletion at any time. For security, full deletion of your personal data will take up to 180 days from the date of request.
10. Disclaimers
While Agasthi does not guarantee the accuracy of all user-provided information, we take steps to validate authenticity through our review processes. We are not responsible for the outcome of any relationship or communication initiated through our platform. We are also not liable for interruptions, errors, or temporary unavailability of the Site.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Agasthi, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Any false or misleading information you provide
- Your misuse of the Site or Services
12. Amendments
We may update or revise these Terms at any time. Revised Terms will take effect immediately upon posting on our Site.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
By registering and using Agasthi, you agree that these Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes or claims arising from your use of the platform shall be resolved in the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
